Well January came and I didn't feel like waiting so I contacted them. Long story short, after a few emails back and forth, I was told that they were already booked for my date. WHAT?!!!

Luckily I have an amazing fiance who listened to me rant when I called him from work with steam shooting out of my ears. I was able to get it all out of my system so I could respond diplomatically. The gist of what happened is that another bride inquired before me about using one trolley. Then I inquired about the use of two trolleys. They have three, so it didn't occur to them to tell me that another bride had also reserved the date. Well, when they contacted her after January, she wanted all three. This bride's wedding is, thankfully, in the same town. So a solution was worked out where we can both have the number of trolleys we want at the times we want. Phew! Now, do you want to see what our guests will be riding in?(source)
Did you provide transportation for your guests?
Wow,I love these, so perfect. Shame it was a stressful process for you though! We don't really need transportation for our guests as evrything happens in the one place (ceremony + reception). I'm toyinh with the idea of havinga vintage rolls royce to drive me and the bridesmaids to the venue but I can't help wondering it it's just an expensive photo opportunity?

I love trolleys, and I'm glad it all worked out for you! What a headache indeed! Your guests will love them.
ReplyDeleteThose trolleys are so cute! I'm glad you were able to work it out with the vendor.
ReplyDeleteWe had a HELL OF A TIME finding appropriate transportation for us. We need a limo/car for an hour and the cheapest quote I could find was over $200 to drive 5 miles. I was NOT paying that much. Finally I found a company who would give us a town car and a driver for $78.
How frustrating!! Thank goodness you were able to get things sorted out. Using trolleys for transportation sounds like a great idea and they look awesome!
ReplyDeletethat's amaaazing! I love trolleys, we rode around in one for my friends wedding in Philly last year. We are providing shuttle buses for our out of town guests to and from the hotel. But limos for our bridal party and an antique car for me and Chris!
